Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files are ideal if all you want to do is print out a document quickly. The file will probably open directly into your browser window with the Adobe toolbar above it; when you have printed the document use the Back button to return to the web page.

If the file does not open, or gives you a choice of opening or saving, it is likely that your computer does not have an Adobe Acrobat Reader installed. You can obtain it FREE from www.adobe.com. Read the instructions for downloading the correct version for your computer.

The Word 97 document file is available if you want to save and edit the document. Depending on the way your computer has been set up, it will either load directly into the browser window (in which case return to the web page with the Back button) or give you the option of saving or opening. If your computer has Talking First Word 4 installed, the document is likely to take on some of the fonts and properties of the colour level you select if it is opened and will not look like the original document .
