The ZIP file consists of the document you require (in Word 97 format) plus any associated files, in a compressed format to take up less disk space. It therefore has a shorter downloading time and is the quickest way to obtain the file.
Once it has been downloaded it needs uncompressing to extract the required files. For this you require a utility (e.g. PKZIP for Windows) which may already be installed on your computer. If it isn't you will need to acquire one from somewhere else on the Internet.
Which computer system are you using?
RM Primary Network
There is no ZIP utility preinstalled on the Primary Network so you will find it simpler to download the Word 97 and example files separately.
Some other PC
If you have PKZIP FOR WINDOWS installed on your computer, use the help page for RM Schoolshare.
